Relevant inspection: First, measure whether the diameter, wall thickness, length and appearance of the steel pipe meet the standards. Observe whether the appearance of the steel pipe is smooth, free of cracks, and free of rust. Caliber, wall thickness and length use professional measuring tools (such as calipers, vernier calipers), and compare with national standards to determine whether the steel pipe is qualified.
Hydrostatic testing and on-line flaw detection: There are 2 hydraulic testing equipment to test the sealing performance and pressure bearing capacity of steel pipes to ensure that the quality of steel pipes meets the requirements of national standards. On-line flaw detection equipment can perform flaw detection on welds and realize non-destructive testing on steel pipes. When possible problems are found, they will be tracked and marked in time. For steel pipes with problems, repair welding and grinding will be carried out as soon as possible. Steel pipes that cannot be repaired will be downgraded and scrapped
In addition, we have advanced physical and chemical laboratories to support and undertake various physical and chemical testing of steel pipes. By measuring the tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, etc. of the steel pipe, as well as chemical analysis to determine the elements of the steel pipe material, to determine whether it meets the standard requirements.
