That is, in the production process, if the roll is damaged or seriously worn, part of the roll shall be replaced in time in the unit, or a certain type of welded pipe shall be produced continuously and fully, and the whole set of roll shall be replaced.

When replacing welded steel pipes, the rollers need to be adjusted accordingly to ensure the quality of welded pipes. On the contrary, if the roll is not adjusted properly, it is likely to cause defects such as torsion, lap welding, edge fluctuation, indentation, scratch and even large Ovality on the bulge and pipe surface.

The following describes the roll adjustment operation methods that should be mastered when changing rolls. First of all, the specification of welded pipe should be changed. Generally speaking, the whole set of rolls should be replaced. The steps of roller adjustment are as follows: first, pull the steel wire at the inlet and outlet of the unit out of the center line and adjust it to make the hole type of each frame on the center line. Weld the steel pipe manufacturer to make the forming line meet the technical requirements.

 In order to ensure the welding quality of welded pipe, the forming roll, guide roll, extrusion roll and sizing roll shall be adjusted once after the roll is replaced as required, and then the closed pass, guide roll and extrusion roll shall be adjusted emphatically. The function of the guide roller is to control the weld direction and bottom line height of the welded pipe, reduce the edge extension, control the rebound of the edge of the pipe blank, and ensure that the weld entering the extrusion roller is straight and without distortion.

In short, in the process of welded pipe welding, when the welder runs at a slow speed, the welded pipe workers should pay close attention to the rotation of the rollers at all parts of the welded pipe and adjust the rollers at any time to ensure that the welding quality and process size of the welded pipe meet the specification requirements.
