If there is a defect in the anti-corrosion steel pipe layer, the pipe is set to the anode potential, and the corrosion current will be concentrated at the defective site.

First of all, the construction of anti-corrosion steel pipes is convenient, the steps are simplified, and it can be constructed at the processing plant site. The anti-corrosion process is relatively simple and does not require major equipment and sites. It is suitable for on-site construction and can be used for on-site construction while preventing corrosion of steel pipes.
Secondly, anti-corrosion pipelines have a longer service life. Due to the service life of steel pipes, coupled with the anti-corrosion effect on steel pipes, the service life of the pipes is greatly improved, and the service life can usually be 20-30 years or longer, thus saving replacement, maintenance and other costs.
The design life of anti-corrosion steel pipes is generally more than 30 years. Petroleum asphalt anti-corrosion steel pipe, epoxy coal tar anti-corrosion steel pipe, adhesive cold-wrapped anti-corrosion steel pipe or 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe, each type of steel pipe anti-corrosion is different, but each has its own advantages.

Although petroleum asphalt anti-corrosion steel pipes and epoxy coal tar anti-corrosion steel pipes were used in the project, they have been eliminated in use, but they cannot be completely canceled in the short term. Future development will be mainly based on 3PE anti-corrosion types. Due to the characteristics and characteristics of anti-corrosion steel pipes, it is economical and applicable, and the project cost is relatively cheap. Combining the quality and service life of steel pipe products, the service life can form a reasonable ratio with investment. Anti-corrosion steel pipes have great advantages in construction and actual needs.
