Vibrating hammer driving steel pipe pile construction

The vibration hammer is used to drive steel pipe piles based on the principle of vibrating immersed pipes. When the vibrating hammer is connected to the power supply, the eccentric heavy wheel in the body rotates at high speed to generate high-frequency vibration and exciting force. The high-frequency vibration force is transmitted to the steel pipe through the hydraulic clamp, and then acts on the contact formation through the steel pipe. The formation is squeezed and Under the action of vibration force, it liquefies and creates a contact surface. The vibrating hammer clamps the steel pipe through hydraulic clamps and sinks into the ground along the contact surface until the steel pipe is sunk to the designed load-bearing depth.

construction process
Material preparation: Considering the convenience and speed of construction and the length of the crawler crane's pull-out rod, the 529mm steel pipe is processed into a 10m section, and then transported to the construction site with a scraper.
Set the pile position: use theodolite for positioning, use a rangefinder to control the distance, and use a rubber raft to measure on the water surface through the direction pole, wait for the steel pipe to be in place and then move it away.
Holding pipes in place: During construction, crawler cranes can be used to move heavy objects into place. Dig a foundation pit on the shore in advance and bury a casing with a diameter of 0.6m and a length of 2.5~3.0m. Use the auxiliary hook of the crane to lift the steel pipe, insert the lower end of the steel pipe into the casing, and use the brown rope to pull and straighten it; the auxiliary hook detaches from the steel pipe, the main hook lifts the vibrating hammer, and uses the tip of the hydraulic needle-nose pliers under the hammer The mouth clamps the wall of the steel pipe, the crane hoists the vibrating hammer, the hydraulic clamp and the steel pipe move to the pile position above the water and are ready to insert and sink the pile.

Pile sinking by inserting and driving: After placing the steel pipe in place, correct its verticality with a line hammer and hanging wire in two mutually perpendicular directions, and start vibrating and driving. If any deviation is found during the entire insertion process, it should be corrected in time. The correction method is: during the vibration process of the vibrating hammer, do not put the rope on the main hook of the crane and swing or lift the rod in a small amount until it is aligned and then insert it until the upper plane of the pipe sinks to the control elevation.
Pile connection: Weld the next 10m pile through the above-mentioned material preparation steps. The butt surface should be flat and smooth. Follow the above procedures until a row of piles is completed.
Laying the bridge roadbed: After each row of piles is driven, a 10mm thick steel plate with a length and width of 610mm is welded to the steel pipe to increase the contact area between the steel pipe and the above-mentioned I55 I-beam. After laying the roadbed, the crawler crane moves forward and prepares the next row of piles. In this way, one row is drilled and another row is laid until all construction access roads and drilling platforms are erected, and the passing ability is verified to be good.

The construction technology of using vibrating hammers to drive steel pipe piles has shown broad application prospects in similar domestic projects. This technology can be widely used in water foundation construction and also has a wide range of uses in land foundation construction.
