Since spiral steel pipes are piled outdoors and most of the large-diameter spiral pipes are buried underground when in use, they are prone to corrosion and rust. In order to ensure the smooth flow of the pipeline, the spiral steel pipe must have strong corrosion resistance. Once the pipeline is corroded, it will cause oil and gas leakage, which will not only interrupt transportation, but also pollute the environment and may even cause fires and cause harm.
1. First of all, it is the influence of external conditions. It mainly depends on the medium characteristics and temperature around the pipeline, as well as whether the medium around the pipeline is corrosive. Because the degree of medium corrosivity is closely related to the various microorganisms contained in the soil. And if it is a long-distance pipeline, the soil environment is more complicated. In addition, the temperature of the environment in which the pipeline is located will also affect the corrosion of the spiral steel pipe. If the temperature is high, the corrosion rate will also accelerate, while the temperature is low, the corrosion rate will slow down.
2. It is the failure of anti-corrosion. When the pipeline is erected, it is necessary to do a good job of anti-corrosion or directly use anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes. The reason why the pipeline is corroded is that the anti-corrosion layer of the pipeline has been damaged. Once the anti-corrosion layer and the pipeline surface are separated, it will naturally cause anti-corrosion failure.
