How to ensure the appearance and welding quality of welded pipe welded joints

Generally speaking, there are several key points to form a beautiful and firm pattern.

The hand should be stable, not shaking, which is directly related to whether the weld line is beautiful, need to master the time, thick steel plate to increase the welding time, short time is easy to weld, thin steel plate, can pass by, prevent welding through, start welding and finish time should be consistent, so that welding can be firm, bear greater weight.

In the welding process, if the arc is pulled off immediately after the weld is finished, the crater will be formed. If the crater is too deep, it is easy to produce stress concentration and cracks, so we need to control the residence time, and finally we need to fill the crater at the end.

The connection mode of welding bead tail joint first is tail joint, which is widely used. The connection mode of welding bead first and welding joint later is head joint. The welding bead is required to strike an arc at the beginning, pull the arc to the beginning, cover the end, weld flat with the beginning, and then move backward.

The connection between the end of the post weld bead and the beginning of the pre weld bead belongs to end to end connection. High temperature is used to repeatedly melt the beginning of the pre weld bead, and then quickly end after welding.

The general closing method is as follows:

1. Circle ending method: when the welding rod moves to the end of the weld, make a circular motion until the crater is filled, and then break the arc. This method is suitable for thick plate ending.

2.Repeated arc breaking ending method: the welding rod moves to the end point of the weld and extinguishes the arc repeatedly at the crater until the crater is filled. This method is generally suitable for thin plate and high current welding, but it is not suitable for alkaline welding rod, which is easy to produce pores

3.Back welding ending method: the electrode moves to the end of the weld and stops, and the electrode angle changes in a small section of back welding. This method is suitable for alkaline electrode.
